Is there a report or query that we can run to find out how many of our participants are returning year over year for Team Raiser events?

Hmmm, the data exists, but my only solution for far is an Interaction report using groups that pulls in both ‘09 and ’10 participants (using filters). I also included colums like "Donor Status", "Active Status" and "Email Status".  You’ll probably need to use pivot tables or manually sort the data and isolate the returning participants.

My best bet is to build a query around this using groups, but I’m no expert.

Things to bear in mind:

1.    You cannot use any single field to match data as emails change or shared amongst family members, stick to first name and last name to catch dups

2.    Consider primary and secondary registrations

Could you use an Engagement Factor for this in the future? I haven't messed with that yet.
