How do I turn on Event Reminder option?

This is wacky, but I've been through every page in the Events setup and I'm not seeing a switch to turn on "send me an event reminder" option. I've created a reminder autoresponder and enabled it, but that doesn't seem to turn on the option on the user-facing page. I don't know why this should be so hard to find--must be I'm going blind or something--but can someone simply tell me where it is? Thanks.

  • I believe this is how you acomplish it: In the event go into #7 customize Autoresponders, then on the event reminder autoresponder type, click switch to customized version. Once it exists and is customized/activated, the checkbox shows up. Hope that helps.
