Advocacy API Legislator Lookup

How does the advocacy API handle when legislators require additional information such as phone number? Does the API automatically display an error and the required field? Is there documentation for this process somewhere?

This probably might not be the answer you are looking for -- but just in case for legislator look up, there is a Convio S-tag that you could use to embed the search widget onto your page.



It's S56 and with that, you are searching by your zip code
