Notification from Service Center User Updates

We are going to be enabling the Service Center for our website but have a couple of questions about whether or not it can do the following:

1. Since the user can update both their profile as well as their monthly giving information, can we be notified of such changes?

     We have another database we maintain and if a user changes their contact information then it would be helpful to us so we can update the other database.

2. Will users be able to view their donation history for their monthly giving?  Usually users like to see what they have given for the year for tax puposes.

3. Will the service center also all the online giving (one-time donations) the donor has made aside from their montly giving?

Hi Susan,

I've responded to your original questions here:

1. Since the user can update both their profile as well as their monthly giving information, can we be notified of such changes? This is not a feature that can be "switched on", but you can set up a Report Writer report that captures contact record changes through interactions, then use the results to update your other DB.

     We have another database we maintain and if a user changes their contact information then it would be helpful to us so we can update the other database.

2. Will users be able to view their donation history for their monthly giving?  Usually users like to see what they have given for the year for tax puposes. See answer on next line.

3. Will the service center also all the online giving (one-time donations) the donor has made aside from their montly giving? Unfortunately, the gift service center does not report on gifts to date, either one-time or recurring.
