Standard vs Multiple Part Event

Hi all,

I need help determining whether to use a standard or multiple part event. We are trying to schedule people for shifts at our Volunteer Response Center. We have two shifts/day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Would it make more sense to create a standard event and then copy it, making appropriate changes for every shift, or to create a multiple part event with each shift being a child event?

I like the idea that with the multiple part event, someone may be able to register for more than one shift at the same time.

Please advise!
