Facebook 'like' button in emails

I've been asked to find out if Convio can put a "Like" button on particular stories in an email campaign. The theory would be that the person could "like" a story, that story appear on their Facebook page, along with a link on the online version of our email newsletter.

Clear as mud? If instructions are available on doing such a thing, could someone point me to them? Or let me know if this is even an option available to us.
