When we submit an enews for Convio to broadcast, the one we are entitled to do thru Convio, and we we submit by Nov 19, how soon can after can it be broadcast?  My assumptrion is that most folks who have adequately planned ahead (ahem) would submit by the "last day" for this month, Nov 19, and would choose to broadcast in December?

  • Hi Linda,

Our IT department definitely recommends scheduling messages through the holiday season as a method by which to get to the head of the line. Any scheduled message will take precedence over an immediate send during the busiest times of the holidays, like those 'last chance' messages that go out at the end of December.

I'm not sure what your needs are as far as your particular calendar. You can schedule a message to be sent out at anytime, later in the day or on a particular month. Keep in mind that the email transmission is serviced in a queue the scheduled date and time refers to the date and time that your message will be queued. They can still experience delays in actually being sent, which is why you won't always see an immediate transmission at the scheduled time. Rest assured however that IT will be monitoring the queues to keep traffic moving very closely through the end of the year!

    Hope that makes sense!
