Success with Relative Dates in Report Writer for Recurring Reports?

I'm trying to set-up a report that would run daily and would pull transactions over a certain gift amount for the previous day. Using Report Writer's transaction report, the report defaults to include Creation Date for Valued Transaction, and the date is (day-30). I updated this to day-1, and the saved the report with no problems. When I go to run the report, I get an error that I have to have a valid date in MM/DD/YYYY format. If I have to go in and enter a date every day, there is no point in having this as a recurring report with results emailed to me.

Since Convio defaults to the day-30 value and lets you modify it without error, this seems like a Run time bug.

Anyone have success with this?
