I want to create html buttons for any web page, not just donation forms, in OnlineExpress

Options
In creating emails, I can only link buttons to the donation pages. I want to be able to link to pages within my website, not just the donation forms. For example, in creating an appeal email, I want to direct people to the full story on the website, as a short email is not enough to get people to donate. This is quite restrictive in comparison withmy current email builder.

  • Hi, Alexandra--

This might be a cruddy workaround, but you *could* create buttons in photoshop, upload them for use in your messages, and give the images a URL. In fact, now that this has occurred to me, I think I'll give it a whorl.

Upside is that you can center an image, whereas OLX won't center a button.

Downside is that if people have image viewing turned off in their email, they won't see the button image--just the alt tag.

Thank you for your reply. I have created image buttons, but this is not an ideal solution because, as you say, they won't then show if images are set to off. At the moment I am just using large text hyperlinks.

It's really not best practice to embed calls to action in images as so often the message will be lost, which is why I raised my question.
