Eliminate unavailable items from drop down in eCommerce

Hello there!



I was wondering if anyone was able to either code in themselves, or figure out how to eliminate the unavailable product options from eCommerce?



As you can see we end up with a LOT of product options that are listed as unavailable becuase we sell dog training courses. I was told that the options WILL NOT eliminate from our drop down. So we have confused customers that see that big list of classes that are unavailable and run off thinking nothing is left.



Is there a way around this? (either eliminate from the drop down, or make this section that's highlighted in my image easier to navigate?). We can't delete the prodcut options unfortuantely since we need them intact to track how many people sign up for a class.



Any ideas would be great!

Hi Kaylyn,



If all the classes are setup as individual products, then you could unpublish the unavailable ones so they don't show.  We had merchadise for sale on our site with the option to pick up at the event or have it shipped.  We had the pickup option available up until a few weeks before the event (so we had time to ship them to event locations).  I just unpublished the pick up items when we wanted to stop selling them.
