Adding merge fields to the reply email

How do we add merge fields to the reply emails?  We use "Salutation" not title in our data base and we prefer not to use first names.

    Assuming you mean the Thank You/Confirmation email on your Donation pages...



    Salutations are not currently available as a merge field.  A quick search of the OLX Idea Bank found this Idea, which seems to be what got us to where we are today, with Title and Lastname fields available.  Someone commented to request also Nickname.  I would suggest that you comment and request Addressees & Salutations (be specific, if Primary would do for you or if you need your Additional Addr/Sals to be available).  You may also need to vote for the main Idea, even though it's already "shipped".  There may be other, similar, ideas out there on this topic...I didn't do a completely thorough search.



    And while you're there, look around and find other Ideas to vote up and/or comment on.  The product will be enhanced faster/better with more input from users.
