Development Coordinator

The Park School, a Pre-K to Grade 9 independent school in Brookline, Massachusetts, is offering an opportunity to a detail-oriented, systems-driven individual to join its 6-person team as Development Coordinator.



This position offers a pathway for a person interested in a career in development to learn the varied skills and attributes of a top-rate development officer.   Reporting to the Assistant Director of Development, the Coordinator will:  manage Park’s gift processing, including acknowledgment letters; perform data entry and work collaboratively with the Manager of Donor Services and Research to maintain the general integrity and consistency of the Raiser’s Edge database;  manage financial reporting and serve as liaison to the school’s Business Office; speak with donors around the execution of their gifts to the school; provide event planning assistance along with being in charge of several on-campus events; provide support to the Annual Fund for mailings, pledge reminders, and events; and serve as office manager for the Development Office.     



Successful candidates will have a proven track record managing detail-oriented systems, experience working with financial data and tracking, experience using a complex database, experience (either paid or volunteer) planning and managing events, and a willingness to join a high-functioning and collaborative team to perform in a wide variety of roles on behalf of Park School.  Fluency in Excel, Constant Contact and Raiser’s Edge preferred.
