Surveys

I've been building some surveys to try and collect data on our Constituents, what I have noticed all of a sudden is "View Current Results" on all of my surveys, how do I get this off? I don't need this link on any survey.

  • Hi Brian -

This has to do with the security category settings for "Results."

It's question #4 on the first step of creating a Survey.

  • So, does the link only show up when an admin user comes on the survey?

If the results security category is set to "General" (or pretty much anything besides "Administrators") then the "View Current Results" link will show regardless of login status. Setting the Security Category to Adminstrators will ensure that the link is gone and only Convio administrators can download survey respondents.

Administrators can't actually be logged into the "front-end" of Convio pages. If an admin logs in through UserLogin, they're redirected to
AdminLogin. Administrators can have an intentional duplicate record that can function as a constituent using the same email address if your instance has the Site Data Parameter (or SDP) set to "enforce unique email."
