SQL and Social Share Resources

Hello!



Can someone verify that Luminate is powered by SQL?  And if so what would be a good reference that explains the ins and outs for someone who is a programmer.



Different subject:  we are on Luminate version 15.9.2 and social share is still referencing a Gigya account but I heard Luminate was going to Janrain as the service, does anyone know the timing on this?  We do not have either account yet but want to start doing some social share options for some Spring galas

I believe Luminate is written in JAVA, so I imagine the database is Oracle. But since Luminate is entirely an online service we cannot access any of that ourselves. Web Services and REST APIs for us.



The LO Feature Roadmap from BBCon lists Janrain as 2nd half of 2015. We're on 15.9.2 and I see Janrain on the OpenAuth setup page, we don't use the social sharing stuff yet though.
