Overview:









The IT Department is responsible for providing the technical infrastructure that allows the Foundation to pursue its mission, with the ongoing objective of increasing the overall efficiency of the organization. The department is responsible for all internal-facing technology systems and services, supporting a global constituency, and ensuring overall data security and integrity. Finally, the department acts as a partner and technical advisor to the various programs and Initiatives of the Foundation.

 

The Clinton Foundation has recently launched Blackbaud CRM and is looking for a Data Coordinator to provide support to the CRM team and coordinate enterprise data. S/he will maximize the effectiveness of the database by proactively ensuring data integrity. The Data Coordinator reports to the CRM Manager and will work closely with the CRM Associate to ensure the quality of system data. The individual must have data management experience, preferably within CRM systems such as Blackbaud CRM or Raiser’s Edge. 

 





Responsibilities:




  • Assist with day-to-day operation of Blackbaud CRM across the organization.
  • Import, export, and manually update data on an ongoing basis.
  • Manipulate data using MS Excel formulas and functions
  • Update documentation stored in the CRM help desk; including user guides, the data dictionary, and global policies and procedures.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity; monitor data input and consistently cleanse data.
  • Support Foundation departments’ and Initiatives’ business processes, working directly with individuals outside of the IT department and continually working towards greater efficiency.
  • Work closely with CRM Manager and CRM Associate to develop strategies for maximizing the capabilities of the application.
  • Ensure consistent data in source documents, coordinating with various teams and constituencies throughout the organization.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:








  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Experience managing large data sets in MS Excel.
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems or other database software.
  • Analytic, data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptive work style.
  • Associate’s degree required. Coursework or degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related subjects preferred.
  • 1-2 years professional experience in a related position.
  • Understanding of Raiser’s Edge, Blackbaud CRM, or other relational databases; proficiency with MS Excel.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required;
  • Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and remain calm and positive in a high-intensity, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with managing relationships with numerous stakeholders at different levels within a large organization; high levels of judgment and discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
Physical and Other Requirements:







  • Occasional or frequent computer work which may require repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and sustained visual and mental applications and demands.
  • Occasional lifting, bending, pulling, collating, and filing, some of which could be heavy (>15 lbs) or require the use of carts.
