Create new merge fields?

We would like to send emails to students (from the Education Edge) pulling data from their individual records, such as student ID or a particular attribute. Is it possible to add additional fields to the merge field section, beyond first name, last name, and title?

While you cannot alter the merge fields that are available for an email message in NetCommunity.  You can create custom merge fields using an imported list.  There are instructions on how to accomplish this task in this Knowledgebase article.
