The Indiana University Foundation has the following opportunity for a qualified, motivated software engineer to join our dynamic Application Development team.

Successful candidates will have a consistent track record of delivery, communicate clearly, and be able to follow team programming standards set by our senior developers. The Indiana University Foundation development team leverages a broad set of technologies to further advancement and alumni relation efforts of Indiana University. Here, your skills will be applied to challenges ranging from home-grown flashy public web applications to vended back-end administrative systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an information technology or related discipline
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in at least one object oriented language such as Java or C#
  • 2 - 5 years of experience with .NET programming, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript
  • Solid knowledge of database structures and tools

Preferred

  • Experience supporting/customizing vended software (Blackbaud CRM, iModules)
  • Experience using distributed source control (Git)
  • Knowledge of modern Javascript frameworks (React/Angular)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Experience crafting automated unit, integration, functional tests
