Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle TN (SHFB) seeks Senior Manager Donor Database Services to be located in Nashville, Tennessee.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:


• 3 to 5 years experience in fundraising database management with preference given to experience with Blackbaud products.



• Database management experience is highly desirable.


Skills & Capabilities:



• Strong knowledge of A/R and A/P processes with significant experience.



• Ability to organize, coordinate, and direct projects.



• Strong oral and written communication abilities.



• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Word and Excel.



• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.



• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.


 Reports to SVP, External Affairs.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Donor Database Services is responsible for establishing business rules, maintaining data and reporting protocols, data integrity and data extraction via CRM systems such as Raiser’s Edge, Donor Perfect or equivalent.  The Senior Manager will develop/manage the external affairs dashboard, on-going/custom analytics as well as database policies and procedures.  The Senior Manager supervises the gift acknowledgement processing team, overseeing the following areas:  1) maintenance of data integrity, 2) gift processing, gift acknowledgement; 3) reporting to internal and external constituencies.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·        Maintain the overall integrity and quality of the donor database, including regular data improvement and hygiene, enforcement of database business processes and management of code tables, business rules and other set-up and end-user functions; identify needs for database upgrades; evaluate gift processing systems and standards, and make recommendations for improvements or changes; serve as primary staff member on technology projects that integrate with Raiser’s Edge.

·        Supervises the data entry processing team; provide support and training to new employees; assure sufficient resources are available during busy seasons; set goals and objectives for direct reports;

·        Develop and provide standardized weekly, monthly and other ad hoc reports for leadership team; provide data for External Affairs dashboard and track various fundraising campaigns; work closely with Finance to reconcile monthly donations using log system.

HOURS

 
  •         Monday – Friday, 8:00am  –  4:30pm
  •         On occasion duties may be necessary, as well as responding to issues, outside of normal working hours (e.g., disaster response, community events, etc.)
 

TRAVEL



• Routine travel is required within the service area; occasional travel for overnight trainings may be necessary.



• Current driver’s license required; copy of current auto insurance; and clean MVR required
