Delay in Sign Ups appearing in OLX?

I just went in to download recent sign ups in OLX...I check this almost every day, and especially just before our every-other-week email goes out (10/6 was the most recent).  Today, there were 3 sign ups waiting.  Two from today, and one from 9/23!  How is a sign up from 3 weeks ago just now appearing?  Does this mean there could be others?  Or was there something about this one that delayed the data reaching us?  He (or she, the firstname is "P") only missed one eNewsletter, but I'd like to know why this happened.  Else the next time it will be, my luck, someone our CEO talked to who signs up and then hears nothing from us for several weeks and comments to the CEO about it.

The sign-up process is a two step process to help cut down on spam/fake emails.  When someone signs up on the sign up form, an email is sent to the email address provided on the form.  This person must open the email and confirm that they signed up.  It's likely the person signed up on 9/23, but did not notice/open this email and confirm their email address until the day you downloaded the transaction.  The transaction will not appear in the sign-up form plugin until they have confirmed their email address.

Thanks, Erin.  I had forgotten that part and I probably would have assumed that the date & time stamp on the OLX download data was the time that they confirmed, not initially submitted their info.  At least now I have a ready explanation should it ever come up with a coworker or supervisor.  (And now that I have the explanation, it never will!)
