Event participant report

Options
I have an event with online registration through NetCommunity.  The registration form allows one person to register and bring one guest, and there are attributes for both participants.  I'd love to be able to run a participant query that includes both names, address info, and attributes, pull it into Export and have the outcome show the first person's name and information, followed on the same line by the second person's (guest) name and information.  I am able to get those results, but the guest's name appears on a second line below the first.  After I export to Excel I can delete the duplicate lines, but that's going to get a little more difficult as more people register.  Any thoughts about how to fix it?

  • If you create a participant query to pick up only the non-guests (criteria "Guest Of is blank" might work), then use that in a participant export, you will get one row for each non-guest participant. You can then add in the guests' names alongside that participant's details, using the fields under the "Guests" section in the export output list.

Thanks Alan, I'll give it a try!
