Importing Targets

Hi - We are working onb our annual appeal and our director would like to up our targets by 20%. Is there a way to do this in Excel and then import the file into Raisers? Or is there an easy way to do it in Raisers?

Do you mean Target $$ on bio 2 or what are you referring to?



There are a lot of way to do global add/changes but you'll need to export the con id/import id of the records you want to change

I don't fully understand your question.  We base our annual giving target ask amounts (or our gift strings) on the highest gift amount in the last three years.  When we have a case that may fall out of that formula, such as a donor who makes a one time memorial stretch gift, we have an attribute called annual giving target ask amount we use to base the ask string on instead.  These target asks are reviewed twice a year to ensure it is still current.  Major gift target ask amounts are stored in the proposal and based on research so we would not globally change them.
