Job Description

 

The Prospect Specialist will support major gift fundraising activities at the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus (IFMC).  The specific responsibilities of the Prospect Specialist include:

• Support the Inova Grateful Patient Program by coordinating outreach activities with engaged clinicians, conducting qualification follow-up calls and visits with identified philanthropic prospect and tracking progress.
• Provide database administrative support to IFMC major gift staff.

Requirements:

• Experience in fundraising, communications, or a related field, preferably in not-for-profit health care.
• Three to five years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred:

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.  Strong communication skills.
• Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge experience.
