VSE Section 1A Pledges

Every year I prepare the VSE Survey I reconcile Section 1A from The Raiser's Edge report parameter with a pledge status report.  This year my RE VSE Survey does not include three pledges.  Two pledges are excluded because they are on the records of a deceased constituent and a constituent with no valid address.  However, I cannot identify the third pledge missing.  Is anyone aware of any other buried exclusions existing in the RE VSE report parameter?  Thank you for your input.

The VSE's section 1A processes pledges similarly to other reports in Raiser's Edge. In most cases, as long as the same options are chosen in each (same date range, query, funds, etc), you should see the same gifts included. If there's a gift missing from one gift and not another, it's usually because of some small difference in the options chosen. 



Another potential cause could be where soft credits are being applied. If you're including a query on the tab, you can open the query and go to Tools > Query options > Gift Processing to make sure the gift is being credited to the right constituent.
