Senior Application Developer (CRM) in Richmond, VA

This position serves as an Application Developer for Central Advancement. The primary responsibilities are to design, maintain and deploy internal and public web applications using ASP.NET and C# within Blackbaud CRM and Blackbaud Internet Solutions. Other development work includes integrating with vender APIs and developing for mobile devices. This position will develop succinct, timely programming code that is logical and optimizes programming resources and meets user requirements.

This person will join an energetic team of programmers and web developers that are passionate about their work. This position will help make critical decisions to guide the online initiatives in online giving and alumni interactions, and will be integral in developing cutting-edge mobile technology to engage our young and tech-savvy alumni. A passion for learning new technology and integrating with other online services is critical for this position.

 

• Work with application development team, web developers, report writers, editors, content creators and others to create applications that meet the needs of the organization
• Build customizations and enhancements on the Blackbaud CRM and Blackbaud Internet Services applications using the Blackbaud Software Development Kit and other web frameworks
• Interpret requirements into finalized applications
• Contribute to documentation
• Provide accurate estimates of development time to help management team schedule and prioritize projects
