The United States Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the mission of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, is pleased to announce a search for a new position in the Alumni Association – Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship.  This individual will work as part of a growing Development team within the Alumni Association at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT.  They will direct all facets of the Annual Giving and Stewardship programs establishing and implementing a sophisticated and strategic Annual Giving plan for alumni, parents and friends of the Academy as well as being responsible for planning, executing and tracking all appeals for the organization to ensure well-coordinated efforts and maximum efficiency.  The director will be responsible for the organization’s matching gift and stewardship program appropriately recognizing donors for their annual and cumulative gifts through listings, building displays and events.  Additionally they will be required to provide ongoing analytical reports on progress, write articles for print and electronic media, and be trained in prospect research to provide back up in this area as needed.  Bachelor’s degree and three to five years’ related experience required as well as the ability to work independently and as a team player in a collaborative environment.  Interested candidates should provide a resume and cover letter addressed to the search committee to employment@cgaalumni.org by September 30, 2015.
