Does anyone ever have trouble with NetCommunity(NC) Event registration page -> Address block ->State table that display a short form of state data from The Raiser’s Edge (RE)?

Does anyone ever have trouble with NetCommunity(NC) Event registration page -> Address block ->State table that display a short form of state data from The Raiser’s Edge (RE)? I have searched the previous post and unable to found anything relate to my question.

We are at early status of NC integration with RE, and have some issues with displaying ‘State’ data on NC Event registration page and NetCommunity Transaction screen as they only display RE State info in a short form rather than a full description; that is OK with some countries like Australia or USA, but don’t suit for most of other countries, especially the countries in Asia; the short form of States are very difficult for a user to select the data when register an even on NC or process the data on NetCommunity Transaction screen.

If anyone has the same issues, how did you fix them or get around to those issues? One suggestion that we have received is move most of our RE State records (over 700) to ‘Counties’ table, only record Australia state under State table, but that will cause trouble to our UK address record, and massive of workload for move over 700 States to 'Counties' for about 5,000 records.
