Data Coordinator/Development Assistant



Gift of Life Donor Program, the nation’s leading organ procurement organization, is responsible for recovering and distributing organs and tissues used in life-saving and life-enhancing transplants in eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.



This is an exceptional opportunity for a Raiser's Edge experienced professional who enjoys accounting for financial bequests and responding to donors by maintaining a shared database and generating related correspondence on a timely basis.

Responsibilities include:
  • Enter data into a shared database used to support fundraising, development and event initiatives hosted by Transplant Foundation, Community Relations and Family House;
  • Ensure complete, up-to-date and accurate information by maintaining the referral and donor information database;
  • Provide day-to-day support for internal and external data requests;
  • Produce reports on a routine and as-needed basis;
  • Assist in the design, preparation, and completion of reports as needed;
  • Create presentations and analyzes data for statistical significance;
  • Support the continued application and enhancement of Raiser's Edge software;
  • Assist with the completion of proposals, grants, and abstracts.
Associate's Degree or equivalent and six months to one-year data entry experience required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Raiser’s Edge experience is required.  One or more years previous work experience in an office setting required.. Specific experience in non-profit/fundraising environment is a preferred. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Relational Report-Writer, and statistical analysis software required. Experience using Kinterra a plus.



Work requires an excellent command of the English language, advanced grammar skills, attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.  Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and strong analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports.
