adding people to the large gift notifications

Hi,

I get pinged when a gift comes in. Our Director of Philanthropy now wants to get the same email notification. I added her email address for the notifications after mine separated by a comma as directed.

Its for the general donation form that is attached to our website. She isn't getting the notifications.

Can you tell me what I might be doing incorrectly?

Has she checked her junk folder? These types of triggered emails often end up in junk folders.

Hi Carol, 



Sounds like you're doing everything correctly. Here are the trouble-shooting steps I would probably take in your situation:



1. Double check the email address for any errors/type-o's (sorry.. I'm sure that's not it, but gotta include it as troubleshoot step #1)

2. Ask her to check her spam/junk folders in case it's being funneled to those folders. 

3. Remove both email addresses, and include her's first (yours second) and see if you still recieve it but she doesn't

or

4. Remove both and just include hers (but you may need to run a test transaction to trigger and verify since you won't be notified when the gift is made)

or

5. Add a third comma separated email address that you monitor (i.e. your personal email), and see if you get both notifications .. but she still doesn't get one.



If she is on a different email server than you are.. she may have higher spam triggers setup which may be blocking or diverting the notification email. 



You may have already tried these, but just wanted to share the steps I'd take.

That is the first place I told her to look but she assures me she is not getting the notifications.
