Lapsed Sustaining Donations

Is there any way to receive admin notifications for donors whose sustanining donation has lapsed?



We have a sustainer set up as an option on most of our donation forms, and we do have an auto-responder set up for the donor to receive a response if there gift has lapsed, but I'm curious to know if there's a way for an admin to get such a notification as well?

There's not a way to setup a triggered notification. The best you can do is setup a Report Writer report for failed sustaining transaction attempts and have it automatically run daily and send you the results. You can set it up to run each night so you have it the following morning. It's not instant but at least you get it automatically and in time to respond accordingly.

This is Trent on the Luminate Support team. Kent is correct; there isn't a way to send notifications to admins for lapsed sustaining gifts. I agree with the suggested workaround of creating a recurring report. I recommend using the Sustaining Gift Attempt details report and filter by Sustaining Gift Status equals Lapsed and Attempt Date accordingly.
