Change an attribute with a form

Is it possible to change the value of an existing attribute on a student record using a hidden field on a re-enrollment form?



I have a student attribute called "Enrolled?" and the default value is "pending". Upon submission of the form, I would like to change the attribute value to "Returning". I placed the attribute on the form, hid it, set the default value to "Returning" and made it the only option available from the list of values. Still, when a test user submits it, it comes into EE with "Pending".



Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Brian,



This will only work if it's a new student attribute that isn't currently on the record. The reason is that the attribute prepopulating with what's already on the student record overrides all other possible defaults.
