Controling confirmation screens

I'd like to see the ability to control not only the forms as they appear when loaded, but also more control over the language that appears on confirmation screens after a transaction is completed. Here's an example:

Hello Peter,



We can control many things about the confirmation screen. On a donation form for example we can scroll down and choose Use Custom Confirmation Screen. If you need a merge field that's not available there, then please submit an idea like you did for that one merge field.
