BBNC Transaction fee

Hi BBNC community. Not sure if there is a way to do this but, can the donation page be configured so that the fees are automatically calculated. e.g. donor gives $5, fee is $0.39 and net amount is $4.61. I was chatting with support and it seems as if going into the gift and adjusting for the net amount is the only way.

In general, most nonprofit organizations do not handle online credit card transaction fees in this way.



The general best practice is to credit the donor for the full gift amount and to handle the fees as a general operating expense item.



This is like any other type of banking fee or financial transaction where the fees are simply the cost of doing business.



FWIW, I would never intentionally discourage a donor from making a donation in the manner that they prefer.

This is in regards to processing not donor crediting (they do get credited for the full amount).



Since the processing fee is set a certain percentage, I'm asking is there a way to configure the processing so that the net actual amount vs the gross amount is reflected in batches.
