Screen flashes and can't edit part - what version of Java is required for NetCommunity?

Sometimes when I am trying to edit a part, the screen flashes and when I click on edit, the edit dialogue won't load fully. I get the top bar but no text to edit.



My IT Dept. said that maybe we have the wrong version of Java. Does this sound accurate? After searching here I have also cleared the cache because that seemed to be the cause of some editing problems.

Your IT sounds correct. Just update to the latest version of Java and you should be fine. Another possible solution is to clear out your browser cashe.
