Problems with and suggestions for new event registration part

I've just tried using the new event registration part for our key fundraising event and I have this feedback:



1 Why are users directed to https://payments.blackbaud.com to take payment? This is inconsistent with the way that the donation form part processes payments and it takes users outside the flow of our website.



2 Related the the previous comment - how does this affect Google Analytics goal and ecommerce tracking? I've not been able to test this yet.



3 The helplets on the classic event registration part were great for allowing you to change headings, instructions and images for each step of the registration process. Please bring them back.



4 Use the proper input type=number when selecting the number of participants.



5 Why no Gift Aid on the additional donation?



6 All your help text says that the classic event registration form is still available but that's not actually the case.



7 When specifying which participant attributes to include for each participant type, allow copying of sets. In order to have the same fields for six different participant types I've had to drag, rename and check everything six times.



8 It would be useful to have a terms and conditions checkbox that users must check


in order to register.



(Of these, points 1, 2, 3 and 4 are quite major problems, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are less important.)



On the plus side, I like being able to set different questions for different participants (notwithstanding point 7) and overall the form is a bit easier for the user.

    Sorry, ignore point 6. I was trying to add a classic event registration form to a page but when I went to select the part all the classic event reg forms were greyed out and non-selectable. I assumed the worst.



    I realise now that's because I already had a different classic event reg part on the same page.

    Wondering if you were ever able to test the Google Analytics ecommerce tracking for the new event registration part? Ecommerce works in the donation forms, but not with the new event registration part for some reason. Chatted with Blackbaud support and they couldn't see any issues.

    I didn't use NetCommunity for event registration in the end so I'm not sure, sorry. From what I understand though, yes it should work fine. There was a problem on our particular installation of NetCommunity because we have several subsites which was causing a problem with the way the payments page displayed.
