Framesets and NetCommunity pages...has anyone done this?

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with using their NetCommunity webpages within a Frameset. For example, an organization would have a very simply designed NetCommunity webpages that are then placed in a frameset on a webpage housed on their main website (that is not a NetCommunity website). Our staff was discussing whether this could be an option as we are considering redesigning our NetCommunity pages and they thought that by placing a NetCommunity webpage in a Framework on one of our iApps pages that this would ensure all of our sub-navigation would be available. Our main website drills down to a large extent and the information is updated so frequently that trying to manage the navigation simultaneously in NetCommunity could be daunting. While we can most certainly test the possibilities of this, I wanted to check if there was anything from past/current NetCommunity users about this.
