jQuery in Net Community

Hi everyone. Can anyone point me in the direction of some documentation on using jQuery within Net Community. I understand the library is contained within NC. Do you therefore still need to reference it somehow or is it enough to use the jQuery syntax within an Unformatted Text part. Is there a resource somewhere I can read up on this. Have searched the site, forums etc in vain.

Thanks a lot Karen, so for something simple like a jCarousel, you'd have the images in a html structure in a Formatted Text & Images part, then the javascript that powers it in an unformatted part sitting on the same page. Is that right?

I don't think we have any specific documentation on this. Speaking for my department in particular, In support we don't assist with javascript or other design things. We aren't trained in it. The software does support it though so provided your script is correct and not interfering with other things on the page it should work. If you do need more help I recommend contacting support. We will try to help even though we aren't trained in javascipt and sometimes we can fix things or find the mistake.
