Subscriptions to particular types of email in the User Email Preferences form?

We are updating our User Email preferences form to allow people to subscribe or unsubscribe from email from the various colleges/schools at our University. Currently I am using Constituent Attributes to define the options as it makes it easier when creating the lists for emails. I'm curious how others are handling this and if you would be willing to share examples of what your subscribe/unsubscribe pages look like. Thank you!
