Make a part invisible to logged in users?

Can I make a part not be visible to anyone logged in? In other words, I want some parts only visible to users that are not logged in. For example, a "please login" message that is not seen when they are logged in.

We do this frequently using a targeted content part. The part includes at least two pieces of content, one viewable to someone logged in, and the other below it (lower in the hierarchy) is a login part.
