Using anchors in BBNC messages

Options
I have anchors in my NetCommunity webpages but when I try and reference those tags in a message from within the system I can refer to the page but not the tag. The only way around this seems to be to get the full url of the page (including the anchor) and reference it as an "other" type of link. Am I missing something here as

it seems an unhelpful way of using anchors.

  • Hey Richard,

Try the anchor drop down just above that.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Karen,

my version of NetCommunity doesn't have that option. I'm on 6.45.2034.18 and last upgraded in November (2013) and couldn't find anything mentioned in recent release notes. Can you let me know what version has that?

    Thanks,

  • Hey Richard,

I can see this option in your screenshot.

    Thanks!

  • Ahh, sorry.. I see what you mean. That option allows you to select an anchor within the email you've composed, it doesn't allow you to link to an anchor on a page within NetCommunity. (as far as I can find through my testing)

  • Hey Richard,

Oh ok. If that's what you're doing it has to be done straight in the HTML of the email. You can get to the HTML on the View tab.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Karen,

you don't actually have to go into the html (see my initial post!). It seems a real pity that there isn't a more user-friendly way of achieving this, but I'll stop looking now.

    Thanks for your help,

    Richard
