Previously linked user in Raisers Edge

When a donor signs up in NetC and we try to link it to their Raisers Edge record, I get a message that the user is previously linked with a different user name. What do I do then?

Hey Robyn,



This means that instead of doing a forgotten password on your site, they made a new username. You'll want to first decide if you want to keep the old username or the new one.



If you're keeping the old one then we want to do a linked user email - http://www.blackbaud.com/kb/index?pag...



If you're keeping the new one then you'll want to edit the user in NetCommunity and break the link to the old username before processing the new one.
