How to insert gift info in BBNC email message?

I want send an email message in BBNC to constituents reminding them of their pledge balance that is due, as well as informing them of current news of the organization (sort of a soft reminder to pay their balance). But I cannot figure out how to insert the gift information. There is no gift data to choose from in the merge fields. Is there just not a way to send a BBNC email and include gift information?! Or am I missing something?

Hi Karen - Thanks for the link, but it still doesn't tell me how to actually insert the merge field. We have tried doing it this way in the past (using an imported list), but as far as we can tell there is no way to insert the data. When I create a message using an imported list and then select the "Insert" tab the "Merge Field" option does not exist as something to insert. That option only shows up for me when I am pulling constituents directly from RE, and then I can't get gift info.


So using the imported list, how do I then physically insert the merge fields into the message? That is the part I am not understanding.

If Step 3 is done correctly then you'll have the merge field button available.
