  • Hi

We are struggling with this too. On the knowledge base article for RE BB750357 the suggestion doesn't seem very friendly for NetCommunity.

-It suggests a table attribute where only one option can be selected. If you display this to website users they would see a drop down box.

-It also doesn't suggest how to get a date stamp for this attribute which I believe is a requirement from CASL. BB support told me that woudl be a manual step.

    Our Solution?

It's proably going to be a bit strange...

-I think we are going to display check boxes to the user on our web form. One might be an opt-in and one for opt-out. This will correspond to a table attribute in RE that allows multiple selections. So not great as that will allow users to select both opt-in and out at the same time or neither.

-then to capture the date, I've heard a newer patch of NC or RE might have a feature that has date stamping for attributes that come from NC. I'm going to look into that more.

Very curious to hear what others are doing
