It would be helpful if the Open Ended question type in the Survey Part allowed for answers greater than 255 characters. 2,000 characters would be better.



What is the point of having an opening ended question type if all they are allowed to type is just about the same amount as a tweet. Our organizations often likes to hear from our constituents, and it's difficult if they can't provide a lengthy response.

    Hey Maggie,

    This limit is in place because that's the limit in The Raiser's Edge. If NetCommunity were to accept more we wouldn't be able to integrate this part with The Raiser's Edge. Instead we would recommend using a common form for longer form questions.
