Event Registration Name Tags and other RE Fields

How does everyone handle name tags for event registrations? We discovered that we have to go back in to every participant and add the name tag information in RE after they have registered in BBNC. Is there a way to add this field on the registration form? What about other RE constituent fields like occupation?
