How do I change what provinces can be selected?

So I have donors at an event from approximately 20 countries. When they select their country on the Online Express donation form, the mailing address format changes appropriately (states for the USA, counties for the UK, etc.). However, I can't figure out how to subdivide the tables in Raiser's Edge; I would like only the states of Brazil to appear when someone selects Brazil, and only the 50 to appear when the US is the choice.



Right now, every state and province appears in the drop-down no matter country the donor chooses (as per the attached picture). This is likely not an OE specific question, but I thought I would ask here. How I change which tables feed into the donation form? Is it possible to make a country's geographic units specific to each selection?

Hi David. I agree it would be great if the state/province would automatically show the appropriate values based on the country selection. Unfortunately the data isn't organized that way in RE.



That said, this is something I will bring up with some RE folks and see what we can do here moving forward. Thanks for sharing the idea and the clear description!

This is an issue/idea that seems to have been raised for many years for Raisers Edge and has gone unaswered so far (at least in the RE Ideas Community)

We recently decided to stick with Blackbaud after learning about Online Express and RE NXT, and seeign how many organizations focusing on online marketing have international donors, this seems to be a big issue for OLX.

We like OLX so far, but as we start implementing it for international events and campaigns, we would really like this to be upgraded.

Hi Support so is there any way that when my donor selects United States they can choose ther correct state ? At the moment they only get the Australian states available to them I can see this has been a problem for quite a few years now is there any update on this issue? Can I configure so that I can create all the states associated with the United states option.

Any update on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
