Hide the ereceipt link when no ereceipt is generated

Is there a way to hide the link to the ereceipt in the donation confirmation screen and email when there is no ereceipt generated because the donor made a recurring gift?

Hi Jennifer. You can enable the receipt for recurring gifts using the setup in receipt configuration in the option menu in the case where gifts are made the day of the recurrence:







That said, no link should be displayed if a receipt is not generated. Is this not what you are finding?

I did that.



I'm creating a form with single and recurring gift options on it. So how do I ensure that single gift donors see the ereceipt link, but recurring gifts do not. (In BBNC, we had "start/end ereceipt section" merge fields to do this.)

If I take out the "Ereceipt link" text, the link looks out of place.

Ah - I see now Jennifer. There isn't a way to hide the label you add yourself. We weren't happy with the begin/end sections for Online Express; they could be difficult to set up and were confusing for many users.



We tried to simply the setup, for example the receipt grid that combines content. In thise case, the eReceipt link will not show up as a random URL, it has text built in and will show up as descriptive text - so an extra label shouldn't be required.

Can you give a link to a document that gives examples of the best set up for the eReceipt feature in OLX, and include end result examples of the emails and ereceipt it is linked to?
