Need to edit my footer information

I can't seem to figure out how to edit the information about our organization that shows up automatically in the footer of my emails. I've updated our "organization information" to include our website, Facebook page, twitter name, etc, but the only thing that shows up is our name, address, and phone number. Is there not an edit option for this section of our emails?



I'd also like to include icons for our Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages, but I haven't seen any of these options either.



I am frustrated because we recently switched from Constant contact to Online Express, and I feel like our options and creativity are now stifled due to the many restrictions with this email program. I really hope you'll make some quick changes... it is adversely affecting the way we're able to do business.

Hi Renee, thanks for the feedback. The organization address is editable in the "organization information" screen that you mentioned. While you can't add or remove any of the footer content today, you can adjust it's styling or add additional footer content directly above the built in footer. Is there other content aside from social links that you would like to add or edit?



As for social - we are currently working on adding a social widget to the Online Express email editor. This will allow you to easily add social icons and links for your email content. Keep an eye out for this feature in an upcoming release!

I would like to add our company registration number and charity numbers (one for England and Wales, and one for Scotland). It's a standard part of our normal emails for legal reasons.



E.g.


Wycliffe UK Ltd. A company registered in England and Wales, number 819788. A charity registered in England and Wales, number 251233. A charity registered in Scotland, number SC039140.

Hi Paul, thanks for the feedback. This is something we will look into. In the mean time, you could always add a text widget directly above the footer to add appropriate content with the same style as the default footer.

We recently shipped the social widget that Matt referred to above. You can see it along with the other content types on the left side when editing an email message:







Dragging the social widget into your message opens the editor that lets you configure which links you want to include, edit the URLs, and choose the button size that will appear in the email:

I see that the organization information is editable, but that is if you are a single organization. We are the foundation for a hospital network raising funds for multiple hospitals, and like to send out emails branded by each respective hospital. Having the ability to edit the footer taken away, or not having the ability for multiple footers, is quite an oversight as I imagine you have quite a few system-based clients. How can we bypass this or are you fixing this?

Hi Steve. It looks like that's a text widget. If so you can simply hover over it, then click the edit button. That will pull up the text editor where you can make changes.

Matt, yes, thank you, that allows me to edit text but doesn't allow me to make the text I edit a hyperlink. Sorry, I wasn't clear enough as that is the help I need.

Got it. To add links, simply highlight the text you want to change into a link, then select the link icon in the top right of the text editor. Like so:

How were you able to change your organization information? I need to tweak ours--our branded name is not the same as our legal name--and I don't see where I can make that change.

Hi Kathryn, Sorry for the late reply here - if you go to your Account settings in Online Express and choose organziation info you will then be able to edit your organziation name.
