Background color pulled from source and html view

I copy and pasted a paragraph from our website into an email. It pulled in the background color from the website. Now, no matter what I try, I cannot change it. Even when I try to change the background color, the old color is still visible behind the new.



When using SPARK, I was able to look at HTML and pull out the code that caused the problem. With Online Express, I'm not seeing that as an option. Am I missing it or is HTML view not an option?

Hi Patty, the background color shouldn't have made it through when you pasted the content, I will have the team look into that. In the mean-time, you can paste your content into notepad (for Windows) which will strip out any style, then copy it from there and paste it into Online Express. This should remove any style and only copy the text.

OK, so I did what you suggested, got the copy in without the old background. I've changed the font type and size to what I want, but the row height is different in that section. Seems I have no control over the leading. Is that true?
