Our statewide conservation non-profit is looking for an accounting professional who is passionate about nature and the outdoors and can serve as our next Finance Director. That person will help us work work to ensure Iowans will always have beautiful natural areas – to bike, hike, and paddle – to recharge, relax and refresh – to keep Iowa healthy and vibrant.



This job opening is rare, and offers an exciting opportunity for high-level responsibility, strategic thinking and teamwork.The Finance Director performs critical finance and accounting operational tasks; provides special knowledge and expertise related to mission-centric projects and activity; collaborates with peers and colleagues to improve operations and results; and provides insight and analysis to equip leaders to set direction and make informed decisions.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in accounting or finance, plus ten years of related experience (including 5 years of experience with a nonprofit organization). Experience with Financial Edge and/or Raisers Edge is a plus.
