I'm the Recruiting Coordinator for JM Family in Deerfield Beach, FL. We are assisting our non-profit affiliate school YATC - Youth Automotive Training Center (www.yatc.org) with hiring a Database Suport Administrator.  



The mission of the Youth Automotive Training Center is to train and educate at-risk youth in basic automotive repair skills, academic remediation, job readiness and life management skills. The goal of this program is to prepare these young adults for productive lives as adults.

They would like someone with 3-5 years of database administration experience with 
  Raiser’s Edge, and ideally someone who can also provide high level IT support for the training center staff (Desktop support, Printers, phones, etc). The primary responsibilities will be working with and administering the  Raiser’s Edge database.



The position is in South Florida (Deerfield Beach) and is a fulltime direct hire role with salary & benefits. They are willing to consider individuals who are open to relocating to the area.



Responsibilities include:

Raiser’s Edge (RE) Database Responsibilities: 

• Maintain an up-to-date database to ensure accuracy of all reports that are produced

• Prepare contact sheets from the database for review and follow-up on requested changes as needed

• Update adds/deletes and any other necessary updates from comments received from contacts

• Prepare mailing lists for fund-raising events 

• Prepare Donor Lists for school programs 

• Input individual/organization additions and changes into Raiser’s Edge



Help Desk Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to End Users for variety of IT related issues: including IT hardware consisting of PC’s, Printers, Routers, Servers, and UPS.  May also be involved with calls involving Mainframe and Network software Telecommunications

• Support users’ issues that includes: troubleshooting, research and resolution tracking of incidents



 Qualifications:

·         Minimum three to five years experience with administration of non-profit Donor databases required. 

          Raiser’s Edge experience highly preferred

·         Technical experience supporting desktops and end users strongly preferred

·         Strong analytical skills and ability to learn new database programs

·         Advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 

·         Must be extremely detail oriented and have above-average organizational, follow-through and prioritizing skills

·         Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain rapport

·         Strong written and verbal communications skills, professional demeanor

·         Must have effective time-management skills

·         Must be flexible in prioritizing schedule to assist others and adapting to changing priorities

·         Must be a team player who demonstrates initiative and follow-through on all assignments

·         Ability to administer projects and work assignments with minimal supervision

·         Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality

·         Must have ability to exercise good judgment

·         Ability to work overtime when necessary
